Long Hair.....Blessing or Curse?

Long hair...…Beautiful but torturous. My hair is almost down to my booty. I love it but on some days I completely despise it. Have you ever unbuckled in the car and then had your hair pulled because it decided to be like "I'm going inside the car with the strap" Believe me it is not comfortable. You have to pull the strap and your hair back out just to carefully let the strap go back in. I'm not even going to mention how times I have shut my hair in the car door or window.  Not pleasant. Putting a bra can be a chore too, especially a sports bra. All of a sudden your hair turns into a boa constrictor and your bra is it's victim. You have to pry your hair from around your bra while trying to get your boobs in the right place. You want to wear you hair in a cute messy bun?  Think again; what you really mean is I want to have a beehive on top of my head or I want to look like Marge Simpson. Fun Fun.  Getting your hair dyed at a salon is like buying a loaded Lamborghini. What would cost a person with average hair length something like $50 will end up costing you about $250. You will hear "Wow your hair takes so much dye. I'm sorry we have to charge extra for your length." Dyeing your hair at home? Make sure you buy multiple boxes of dye and then have fun "sectioning your hair" and covering everything. My bathroom has looked like a murder house by the time I have gotten done. You neck will hurt from trying to sit there with pounds of hair and dye barely being covered by the itty bitty shower cap that they think my hair fit into. My arms get tired when brushing it. Oh and braids? While you are braiding your hair at the top of your head, you will have invisible little fairies that want to be helpful by braiding the ends.  You end up with some weird messy knots that you have to keep undoing. Bottom line is I love my hair but it is a pain in the neck quite literally.
